Brooklyn Recess keeps the sport of double Dutch alive and jumping

Natelegé Whaley and Naima Moore Turner started organizing double Dutch outings not just for nostalgic fun, but also to create space for Black people in a rapidly gentrifying borough. The founders of Brooklyn Recess round up eager participants from throughout the city for their jump-rope outings in Brooklyn parks, and sometimes at public events where they know the community will be present.
