"Caught" Tuesday on WNYC

Specials | Mar 30, 2018

This mini-series kicks off Tuesday night featuring the story of Z, a teenager who got caught up in the juvenile justice system at an early age. Through his experiences we learn how the justice system works, doesn’t work, and the challenges young offenders face in not getting caught up in the cycle of repeat incarceration.

Hosted by Kai Wright, Wednesday and Thursday's broadcasts will feature WNYC reporters Cindy Rodriguez and Sarah Gonzalez as they explore the shortcomings of the juvenile justice system, how it impacts the families of those incarcerated, and how the experience of girls differs from boys. As well as responding to your questions and comments.
