Orange County, Florida, a place that's been made famous as the home of Disney World, has the highest number of juvenile arrests in the state.
From June 2015 to June 2016, police arrested more young people in Orange County than Miami-Dade County, where the population is nearly double. Nearly 64 percent of those incarcerated are black boys.
Florida also happens to be one of the 14 states that allow for direct file, which gives the prosecutor the power to file charges against a juvenile directly in adult criminal court.
