Trumpeter Chris Botti has had an unusually wide-ranging career; the Grammy-winning instrumental pop composer is also a seasoned jazz veteran. And he’s as likely to be found hanging out with Oprah or playing the national anthem before a NY Giants game as he is jamming with prog rock heroes Bill Bruford and Tony Levin. Chris Botti's 18^th annual holiday residency at the Blue Note runs every night through January 7.
