Director Ciaran O’Reilly and actor Obi Abili join us to discuss their new production of Eugene O'Neill's “The Emperor Jones” at the Irish Repertory Theatre. Abili plays Brutus Jones, an African-American man and a former Pullman porter, who kills another man, escapes prison and travels to a small Caribbean island where he sets himself up as emperor.
“The Emperor Jones” has been extended through May 21 at the Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd St.).
