City Council Holds Hearing On Voter Approved Ranked Choice Voting

As part of a City Council-backed Charter Revision Commission last year, city voters overwhelming approved a change to the law that requires ranked choice voting for primary and special elections to local offices. It allows voters to pick up to five candidates in order of preference.
