The Legacy of Clara Schumann

In 1972, one of the most celebrated chamber music groups in America, the Beaux Arts Trio, made one of the only recordings of Clara Schumann's piano trio. That recording has just been added to the National Recording Registry in the Library of Congress. Biographer Anna Beer, scholar John Tibbetts, and Beaux Arts Trio member Menahem Pressler come together to discuss that album, and to reflect on Clara Schumann’s long path to recognition in the music world.
