As incoming president Frances Bronet finishes her first year as president of Brooklyn's Pratt Institute, she and Adam Friedman, director of the Pratt Center for Community Development, talk about the work of the art and design school with a focus on social responsibility.
On helping students in 2018, when student loan debt abounds, Frances Bronet says in addition to scholarships: If you come to Pratt, we are committed to you for the rest of your life. If you have a career shift in 7 years, in 30 years, you can come back to the career center.
