Sinatra Saturdays @ The Carnegie Club (New York, NY) Things are a bit smoky at the Carnegie Club on Saturday nights when Steve Maglio and the Stan Rubin 11-Piece Orchestra present Sinatra Saturdays. We aren’t kidding; the smoking of cigars & cigarettes is legally permitted in this venue. It’s part of the experience of transporting the crowd to a different era, a time when Sinatra was king of the hill - top of the heap.  Saturdays 8:30/10:30 PM http://www. hospitalityholdings.com/

Renee Legendre @ Metropolitan Room (New York, NY) Vocalist Renee (Porcella) Legendre has a passion for performing. Possessing a background in jazz, cabaret and liturgical music, Legendre takes the meaning of song lyrics seriously.  With her jazz trio, featuring pianist Pamela Hines, Legendre presents Shall We Swing a Little; a show of the jazz standards of yesterday and today at the Metropolitan Room. Sunday, August 9th 7:00 PM http://metropolitanroom.com/
