Court Orders State To Vaccinate Older Inmate - Advocates Hope It Will Lead To Others

A New York State judge has ordered the Corrections Department to vaccinate a 65-year-old incarcerated man with chronic lung disease for COVID-19.

Criminal right advocates hope the decision will push the state to speed up access to vaccines for many more vulnerable incarcerated people as outbreaks inside prisons continue to balloon. Read the full story on Gothamist.com.
