The singer Daisy Press grew up in a rock’n’roll household, but went on to become a noted performer of contemporary classical music. She’s also studied north Indian raga singing. And she brings all of that musical experience to bear on her new recording of 12^th century songs by the German abbess and composer Hildegard of Bingen. Daisy Press performs these 12^th century songs in the catacombs of Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, Sept. 7-9, with two shows per night.
