Tanya Nash, Executive. Dir. of N.Y. Society for the Deaf. The Society for the Deaf is going to join with the Industrial Home for the Blind in a training program for volunteers to help the blind and deaf.

Deaf need special services from people who can lip read and use sign language.

There is a school for orthodox sign language in Washington, D.C.. The Society for the Deaf is going to join with the New York Lighthouse for the Blind in a voluntary program for volunteers to help the deaf and blind.
