'Electionland' Looks at What Really Happened at the Polls

Derek Willis, News Applications Developer at ProPublica, and John Keefe, senior editor for Data News at WNYC, return to discuss what actually happened at the polls on Election Day, and what the “Electionland” network accomplished. In real time, “Electionland” informed news outlets of issues that voters encountered at their polling places such as long lines, malfunctioning machines, and dropped names from voter rolls, We’ll also find out how the Election DataBot helped reporters covering political campaigns.
