Envisioning Future Feminism

Spinning on Air | Sep 20, 2014

Future Feminism is an art show; a thirteen-night performance and lecture series; and a provocative, celebratory collaboration between Bianca Casady and Sierra Casady (of CocoRosie), Antony (of Antony and the Johnsons), Kembra Pfahler (of The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black), and Johanna Constantine (of Black Lips). The project has produced works of art and music and new ideas "representing a frontier feminist perspective," according to The Hole Gallery where the associated exhibition and events are taking place. Bianca and Sierra Casady and Kembra Pfahler join David Garland to talk about Future Feminism, and to perform in the WNYC Studio.
