Ethan Hawke Plays Jazz Icon Chet Baker in 'Born to be Blue'

Ethan Hawke plays legendary jazz trumpet player Chet Baker in "Born to be Blue." After achieving success and performing with Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie in the 1950s, the film depicts Baker trying to make a comeback while struggling to overcome a crippling heroin addiction, and relying on his wife Elaine (Carmen Ejogo) for support.

Opens March 25th at the Lincoln Plaza & IFC Center.
