Kate McCaffrey, an associate professor of anthropology at Montclair State University, and Melina Macall, a food activist, educator, researcher and community organizer in food justice and sustainable food systems, discuss (at 39:40) their project, the Syria Supper Club which is part of The United Tastes of America, a fundraiser and cultural exchange program where Syrian refugees cook and share their food and culture with other participants.
