Last year The New York Times received 13,000 applications for a position they described as a “dream job" — to visit 52 places in one year and write about it. Jada Yuan talks about landing the gig, and whether always being on the go (and on deadline) was a dream or more of a nightmare.
"You can see logistics as these points that you have to meet or you can see them as a fun puzzle that you have to figure out, and I think if you can see them as a fun puzzle, you’ll have a calmer vacation. You don’t have to get annoyed by everything," says @jadabird.
