Finom at The Sultan Room

Finom is the duo of Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart, two singers and guitarists. They were formerly known as Ohmme, but under either name, the duo offers a slightly skewed version of art rock, with vocal harmonies that draw as much on experimental heroes like Meredith Monk as they do from, say, the B-52s. Their latest album, called Not God, was produced by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, and includes this track, Hungry, an upbeat rock number that turns into a squall of guitars by the end. Finom plays on May 31 at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn.
