Getting to Know the Theremin

The Leonard Lopate Show | Apr 15, 2015

Theremin virtuosos Dorit Chrysler and Rob Schwimmer talk about their remarkable and underappreciated instrument. On April 17 at Joe’s Pub, they’ll attempt the impossible, presenting a trio rendition of Bernard Herrmann's "The Day the Earth Stood Still.” They’ll also perform their latest solo works (including a number of premieres) and collaborations on Theremin. The event, called “Thereminage à Trois,” is presented by The NY Theremin Society
