Gig Alert: Björk- Blissing Me (Weekly Music Roundup)

The Icelandic singer Björk is preparing to release her ninth solo album on Friday. It’ll be called Utopia, and it includes this spacey, almost weightless ballad called "Blissing Me." Like much of her recent work, it features a spare but inventive instrumental arrangement – specifically harps, percussion, the occasional bird call, and layers of her own almost alien-sounding vocals.

Björk has released a one-take video for this song as well, in advance of Friday’s full album release, and you’ll find the song and its video in our Weekly Music Roundup.
