Gig Alert: Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society at Shapeshifter Lab
Tickest: $15-20. Show at 7PM

Conspiracy Theories are only conspiracy theories if they’re not true. If they’re true than they’re just, you know, facts. Problem is that some conspiracy theories have some truth in them – that is the basis for "Real Enemies," a music theater work by Darcy James Argue and his big band called the Secret Society. Inspired by everything from Wikileaks to alien abductions, Argue’s music can be an unsettling but propulsive blend of big band jazz, minimalism, and electronic sound. Darcy James Argue's Secret Society will fill the Shapeshifter Lab in Brooklyn tonight.
