Gig Alert: Drive-By Truckers at the Capitol Theater
Tickets: $35-45. Show at 8PM

Last year, Drive-By Truckers released an album called simply, American Band. Except it wasn’t really so simple at all. American Band is an album full of anger and protest by a white southern rock band that wasn’t afraid to call out fellow southerners for their views on race and the South’s complicated history.  The result is some of Drive-By Truckers' most compelling and urgent music, and in the song “What It Means,” they offer a heartbreaking response to the Trayvon Martin shooting.

Drive-By Truckers play tonight at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, and they’ll do a set in our studio today at 2pm.
