Gig Alert: Glasser at Le Poisson Rouge

The singer/songwriter Cameron Mesirow records under the name Glasser.  Her music has drawn comparisons to the dreamy pop of the Cocteau Twins and to the experimental sounds of Bjork, but it is definitely the product of a singular vision.  Tonight, though, Glasser will be playing with others, as she shares the stage with the percussion trio Tigue, and new music figures like violist Ljova, and cellist Ashley Bathgate.  They’re all doing a benefit for the NY Immigration Coalition at Le Poisson Rouge.
