Wild gypsy fiddling and frantic punk guitars are two main ingredients of the band Gogol Bordello, whose music reflects the Lower East Side of Manhattan… and the lower east side of Europe. Frontman Eugene Hutz was born in Ukraine but founded Gogol Bordello in New York in the late 1990s. They’ve appeared in a number of films and this year released their seventh studio album, Seekers and Finders. The gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello plays tonight at Brooklyn Steel.
