Brooklyn’s Idgy Dean is essentially a one-woman band; Lindsay Sanwald. She somehow combines a kind of feminist mysticism with tribal drumming and occasional nods to the darker, more intense sounds of industrial rock. Those two sides of her music are reflected in the title of her latest record, Ominous Harminus. When she performs live, Idgy Dean accomplishes this through the proficient use of live looping technology, which she'll do tonight at House Of Yes in Brooklyn.
