Gig Alert: Kuroma

ARTIST: Kuroma

GIG: Tuesday night at Baby's All Right

The frontman for the Athens, Georgia, band Kuroma has been a part of several inspired rock groups over the last decade, from the hard-driving Athens group The Whigs….to the psychedelic Connecticut band MGMT. But he has returned to Kuroma off-and-on, and you can hear influences of both of the groups just mentioned on Kuroma’s new record, Kuromarama, like this song, “Love Is On the Way.”
