Gig Alert: Kurt Vile & The Violators at Terminal 5

Kurt Vile is from Philadelphia, and was formerly a member of the popular rock band The War On Drugs. Vile and his band The Violators play music that blends twangy folk and indie rock with a psychedelic tinge.  (Kurt Weill, the 20th century German American composer who wrote "Alabama Song" and "Mack The Knife," and this Kurt Vile are not the same guy.)

Kurt Vile & the Violators play tonight at Terminal 5 with Woods, and Nathan Bowles.
