Nashville singer Ruby Amanfu has recorded with Jack White on several of his projects, and appeared on Beyonce’s Lemonade as well. As a solo artist, she has sprinkled her own songwriting with a carefully curated set of covers, from Woody Guthrie to Kanye West. But it’s her own songs that have attracted the attention of Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series.  Songs like this one, called "When They Go Low We Go High." Ruby Amanfu is performing tonight as part of the American Songbook series at the Kaplan Penthouse of Lincoln Center.
