The band Grizzly Bear has been around in some form since 2002, but since assembling their current quartet lineup in 2006 they’ve become one of indie rock’s biggest, most successful, and sometimes most psychedelic bands. They’re also public radio fans. In fact, they’re part of our upcoming celebration of New York Public Radio at Brooklyn Bowl on June 21. British singer and actress Ebony Bones will open, and Talib Kweli will DJ the afterparty, but Grizzly Bear will be the headliner.
