What have you read or seen over the past year (book, play, film etc…) that moved or surprised you?

Model Woman: Eileen Ford and the Business of Beauty by Robert Lacy …She was a complicated woman. I chronicle my own experiences with her in my book.
Straight Outta Compton…I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I was expecting more violence, but I was truly moved by the importance of rap music.
Things I Should Have Told My Daughter: Lies, Lessons & Love Affairs by Pearl Cleage…Love anything by Pearl Cleage.

What are you listening to right now?
With my grandkids it's all about Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae by Silento
I also meditate daily to a Course in Miracles by my life coach.

What's the last great book you read?
John Adams by David McCullough

What's one thing you're a fan of that people might not expect?
I'm a fanatic about golf. It's the only sport I watch besides Venus and Serena. I also play daily.

What's your favorite comfort food?
Popcorn with butter and salt.
