Has the EPA Failed to Effectively Regulate Chemical Spills?

Award-winning filmmaker Cullen Hoback talks about his new film What Lies Upstream, which focuses on an investigation into a chemical spill in West Virginia. The story spirals into an indictment of the entire system meant to protect drinking water, revealing cover-ups at the highest levels of government. It examines the regulatory failures of the EPA and the misuse of science.

The film premieres at Maysles Cinema in New York from Friday, January 12th, with Cullen appearing for audience Q&As after select screenings. Click here for a list of times and dates.
