The call about a universal registration line system: some places in the country *are doing that and it's so much better! This is doable. Fairfax County, VA has pre-registration and they call you with your turn. SO much better and my 75+ mom got vax appt easily that way.

@BrianLehrer I'm signed up on six sites for alerts. Nothing. Your last caller is right. It would be good if you could know you are on a wait list. My friend got a vaccination, but never got an alert from the same source (CVS).

NYC Covid response has been overwhelmingly disappointing. Pop-up testing sites were not listed on NYC H&H sites. Easier to participate in a treasure hunt without a map. The 2/15 date wasn't properly thought out. What a mess! Communites of color should be at the top of the list.
