In a year without traditional commencement ceremonies, join Brian Lehrer for an on-air celebration of graduates entering the health care field and graduates and their families call in with their hopes for the future and reflections on this moment.  

  • Dr. Craig Spencer, New York City emergency medicine physician and director of global health in emergency medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, delivers an on-air commencement address to the rising graduate class;
  • Dr. Michele Crespo-Fierro, president of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, New York Chapter, professor of nursing at NYU, and founding faculty advisor for the student group Latinos Aspiring To Imagine Nursing Opportunities (LATINOS) at NYU, gives advice to graduating nursing students entering the field and answers questions about working as a nurse.
