Helga: Kenneth Lonergan & Hilton Als

Host Helga Davis interviews longtime friend and classmate Kenneth Lonergan as they revisit their lives at the Walden School.  Lonergan is a director, playwright and screenwriter who won the Oscar for best original screenplay at the 89th Academy Awards for his film Manchester By the Sea and he co-wrote Gangs of New York with Martin Scorsese.

Also hear her conversation with writer, professor and 2017 Pulitzer Prize winner, Hilton Als as they discuss anger and how to make it a useful feeling.  Als won the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism and is the author of his book, The Women.
