Journalist and author David Neiwert joins us to discuss his latest book Alt-America: The Rise of the Radical Right in the Age of Trump. As an investigative reporter, David Neiwert has been tracking extremist figures like Milo Yiannopoulos and Alex Jones for years. He details the how the far-right movement has grown since the 1990s, and why it has become so visible following President Trump’s election.
