How To Get A Job Part III: The Booming Gig Economy

For the final installment of our How To Get A Job series, we look at the non-traditional work landscape of full-time freelance and "permalance" gigs. Dev Aujla, the CEO of Catalog, a recruiting firm that provides talent for organizations like Change.org, discusses his new book 50 Ways to Get a Job: An Unconventional Guide to Finding Work on Your Terms. He’ll be joined by Stephen Warley, a self-employment coach who teaches people how to design career paths that aligns with their values, needs, and abilities.

Dev will be reading excerpts of his book on May 1 at 7:30 pm at Greenlight Bookstore in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
