Trump's 'Incredible Game of Chicken' With the GOP

Eli Stokols, national political reporter for POLITICO, and Harry Siegel, Daily News columnist, discuss the impact of the Muslim entry ban and more GOP news.

Stokols points out the polling has shown that Donald Trump's rhetoric -- namely, last week's call for a ban on Muslims entering the country -- rings true with a large swath of the Republican party, which is grappling with the idea that "Trumpism may exist long after Trump does."

Siegel says Trump is in an "incredible game of chicken" with the GOP, in that he can't possibly win the nomination but has started a runaway train of rhetoric. He says Trump's muslim ban came a day after President Obama addressed the nation in the wake of the Paris attacks in a speech that "resonated as just weird and wrong with a lot of Americans."
