Incoming Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer May Deliver More Aid to New York

New York Senator Chuck Schumer will become majority leader on Wednesday when President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris take office.

Schumer assumes his new role after serving in the chamber for more than two decades. Before that, he represented Brooklyn and Queens in the House of Representatives for 18 years.
