The Irish Repertory Theatre's Stage Adaption of James Joyce’s 'The Dead'

Actor Rufus Collins, along with director Ciaran O'Reilly and Pullitzer Prize-winning poet Paul Muldoon, discuss the Irish Repertory Theatre stage adaption of James Joyce’s “The Dead,” playing at the American Irish Historical Society through January 7. Rufus stars as Gabriel Conroy. The story takes place at a holiday gathering on January 6, 1904 in the Dublin home of two elderly sisters, Kate and Julia Morkan, and their niece, Mary Jane. By the end of the evening, Gabriel learns something about his wife that changes how he sees her.
