Ithaca College and The Vineyard Players

The NYPR Archive Collections | Jan 1, 2000

Richard Pyatt, taping at Martha's Vineyard, talks to the cast and crew of Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park," presented by Ithaca College. The theater troupe, The Vineyard Players, was founded by two students at Ithaca College, Jeffrey C. Kramer, and Duncan Ross. J. Fred Pritt, Steven Schaefer, Alice Cohen and Gibby Brand join Kramer and Ross in the interview. They discuss the theater program at Ithaca college and debate trends in experimental theater such as breaking the fourth wall to interact with the audience or performing on a theatre-in-the-round.
