Jeremiah Moss On The 'Hyper-Gentrification' Of NYC

The Leonard Lopate Show | Aug 2, 2017

Jeremiah Moss, creator of the award-winning blog, “Vanishing New York,” joins us to discuss his book Vanishing New York: How a Great City Lost Its Soul. Moss explores the city's period of "hyper-gentrification" during the twenty-first century, which has dramatically transformed beloved neighborhoods and destroyed treasured unofficial landmarks.

Jeremiah Moss will appear in conversation with Judy McGuire on Aug. 3 at the POWERHOUSE ARENA (28 Adams St., Brooklyn) at 7 p.m. He will also appear in conversation at 6 p.m. with Sari Botton on Aug. 18 at the Outdated Cafe (314 Wall St., Kingston NY).
