Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton is a musical throwback – to the great blues guitarists of the south in the first half of the 20th century. But he’s also a modern guy, adept at multitasking. So you may also see him playing banjo, or piano, or violin. He sings, and regales his audiences with his storytelling. On Thurs., Jan. 21, he presents a show called Blues and Black Folk Music with Jerron Paxton, streaming live from Dizzy’s Club, as part of Lincoln Center’s Rooted In The Blues Festival.
