John Pizzarelli: As Good as It Gets, 5 Must-See Performances

New Standards | Jun 6, 2014

This Sunday afternoon, we're bringing Jonathan's weekly radio broadcast to the stage at BAM. Who better to perform than world renowned guitar virtuoso, John Pizzarelli? Hailed by the Boston Globe for "reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz", John Pizzarelli personifies the spirit of The Jonathan Channel. It doesn't hurt that he's a stellar performer, either.

 "Mountain Greenery"

1) Pizzarelli sits down with The Fretboard Journal and unleashes his take on the classic, "I Got Rhythm." Showoff.

2) Mindblowing musicianship is always in season.

3) Ladies and gentleman, John Pizzarelli and vocalist Jane Monheit. We're charmed and you will be too. Promise.

4) The location may change but his stellar guitar playing does not. At #4 is a performance of Pizzarelli w/The Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra.

5) Last but not least, we've got John Pizzarelli introducing his latest project, Double Exposure (in stores now).
