Nobel Prize-Winning economist Joseph Stiglitz joins us to discuss his new book Globalization and Its Discontents Revisited: Anti-Globalization in the Era of Trump. Stiglitz once again explores how globalization has bee mismanaged, which was the basis for his original book, and shows how this has ultimately led to the rise of Donald Trump. The book includes a new introduction and chapters.
Joseph Stiglitz will appear with John D.MacArthur, the president and publisher of Harper’s Magazine, at the W83 Ministry Center (150 West 83rd St., between Amsterdam and Columbus Aves.) on Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 ($20 for students) and include a copy of the new book and a one year subscription to Harper’s Magazine.
