Judge Blocks City’s Attempt to Move Homeless Men From UWS Hotel

The city was planning to move the men to a hotel in the Financial District after some residents on the Upper West Side complained about quality of life issues and threatened to sue. But a judge blocked the relocation after the men argued they wouldn’t have access to the same programs and jobs downtown.
