Agriculture accounts for two thirds of the nation’s fresh water use and half its land use. Despite this massive investment of resources, America wastes 40% of its food. That’s like opening a carton of eggs and cracking five directly into the trash. We’ll unpack the connection between the resources used to grow food and what each of us can do to make sure they’re not squandered. Consumers, it turns out, are the biggest food wasters.
