This week, The Takeaway spoke with Associated Press Reporter Sharon Cohen about the AP's new series on juveniles sentenced to life without parole, and the recent Supreme Court Decision that allows many of those cases to be re-visited.

Today, we hear from former juvenile lifer Earl Rice, Jr., who was recently paroled after 43 years in prison after a robbery went wrong. He was 17-years-old when he was sentenced to life without parole.

Adam Geller, national writer for The Associated Press, also joins the conversation, and discusses the changing norms around juvenile offenders sentenced to life without parole, and what it was like to find Rice's story. Geller spoke with him, his family, and the family of the woman who died.

This segment is hosted by Todd Zwillich.
