Khary Lazarre-White joins us to discuss his debut novel Passage. Lazaare-White's novel follows 17-year-old Warrior as he navigates the streets of New York amidst love, danger, oppression and the spirits of his ancestors. Lazarre-White is also the executive director of Brotherhood/Sister Sol (Bro/Sis), a Harlem-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting young people of color.
