Kinan Azmeh Cityband via The Greene Space (Live Stream)
Part of Carnegie Hall’s Voices of Hope Festival
Thurs., April 29. 7PM. Via YouTube

Clarinetist and composer Kinan Azmeh is from Syria, and the sounds of his homeland are never far from his music – whether he’s playing with Yo Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble, or a Western orchestra like The Knights. Azmeh and Cityband are part of Carnegie Hall’s Voices Of Hope series with a virtual event in The Greene Space, in which he’ll premiere a new work that includes the recorded voices of Syrians reflecting on 10 years of war. Kinan Azmeh and his Cityband join host John Schaefer for a virtual event in The Greene Space on Thursday night, April 29.
