Krista Tippett's  Peabody award winning public radio program "On Being"  aims to explore big questions like “What does it mean to be human?" and "How do we want to live?” Now Tippett has synthesized themes and insights from over 400 interviews into a new book, Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living (Penguin Press, 2016).

Krista Tippett talked to Brian about culling from conversations with spiritual leaders, artists and scientists, and explained the future of faith, the rise of spiritualism, and how to write a good interview question.
